Christmas Letters

I did not send Christmas cards out this year. I had every intention of doing so but it just didn't happen for us this year. Next year right? I thought about sending out New Year's card but let's be honest...that is probably not going to happen either. We have a little man turning one very soon and a big blast party for our soon to be four year also just around the corner. So instead here is the letter I was going to send out to our family and friends.

Dear family and friends,

It is our last Christmas in Pennsylvania and we thought what better way to announce this than a Christmas letter. It is official! Our Dr. Heskett will be the newest OB/GYN in Garden City, KS relocating in June. We couldn't be more thrilled about our move and are in the midst of trying to find a place to live.

Bret is thrilled to be moving back to KS and can't wait to get back into hunting, going to the lake, trips to Colorado, and living closer to family. This year has been busy with job interviews and working his tail off as a chief resident.

2010 started of with a bang with the newest member of our family, Logan Blaine. He was born January 5th and amazes us all that he is getting ready to turn one. Although he is not yet walking and much to the dismay of his older siblings he gets where he wants to go and into everything. He makes us all laugh daily and is the sweetest easy going baby.

Palmer is super excited to turn four years old. He loves going to preschool and spending the rest of his days with mommy at home. Palmer loves dinosaurs and anything with wheels. Palmer is his father's boy and follows him everywhere. He is also a great brother to both Emily and Logan.

Emily had an amazing year and seems to have become this big kid overnight. She has lost several teeth, learned to ride her bike with no training wheels, and started kindergarten. Emily loves math and working hard to learn to read. She is getting ready to start competitive swimming this spring. She would live in the pool if we let her.

After Logan was born I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to work from home. I am still in financial aid only now I do it in my PJ's at home with my laptop. It is the best of both worlds. I am thrilled to move to KS and get into a house with more space.

2010 has gone so fast for us and there is so much we are looking forward to in 2011. We are so very blessed and thankful. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love,

The Heskett Family
