Troll La La La La

Trolley Party!

When Bret first started his residency program there was a rumored tradition that the attendings used to host a progressive dinner that the residents rode a trolley around to. Bret's class is always up for food, drinks, and good times so they decided to resurrect the tradition for the first time in a long time.

We all got on the trolley at the hospital and made our way to the first stop...appetizers. It just so happened that we got our first snow of the year that day so the feeling was extra festive as we caroled our way into the doctor's home. Of course each of the attending homes were amazing and the food just as good. We visited a total of four homes: appetizers, soup/salad, main course, and dessert.

The food was amazing, I hear the drinks were fantastic, and the get together as a whole was a lot of fun. It was a little hectic getting into and out of each house as one drive way had at least one person that slipped and fell completely down (of course I had lots of people concerned that I was being careful).

This time of year always seems really busy with all kinds of different get togethers, parties, and activities but I think everyone agreed that this was still a tradition worth keeping.
